Dohrman J. Wells passed away surrounded by family May 10, 2012 from congestive heart failure complications. Dohrman was born in Steubenville Nov. 2, 1933, to the late George and Lillian Wells. He grew up in Steubenville and graduated in the class of 1951 from Steubenville High School. He was a proud member of the Big Red football team and received Ohio Valley Honors. Dohrman, also known as Dormie, proceeded to Mount Union College where he graduated in the class of 1955. While there he was active in Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, a four-year letterman and cocaptain of the football team and an All-Ohio Conference center. He also met Mary Lou, his wife of 56 years while at Mt. Union.

Glendene N. "Cookie" Ott, 97, of Rittman, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Home.
She was born Dec. 19, 1914 in Orrville to Christian and Ophelia (Zink) Hilty and lived most of her life in Rittman. Cookie graduated from Orrville High School in the class of 1932 and worked at Camp Hood in Texas during World War II. She also worked at the former Ohio Match Co. and owned and operated Ott's Beauty Shop.
