Hajji Beverly Anne Alawan (nee Williams), 78, passed away May 11, 2012 at home surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Haider for 53 years; loving mother of Nadiya Samhat (Michael), Deeb (Cindy), Haider, Medeana Hobar (Albert) and Jahan (Kristi); daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy Williams; daughter-in-law of the late Hajji Katie Alawan and Haj Ibrahim Alawan; sister of the late Donald and Wallace Williams; grandmother of Saied, Haider, Alliya, Dakota, Kamley, Katie, Deeb, Isabella, Albert, Enya and Hattie Rose.

Emmagene Neal, 81, of Brunswick, went to be with the Lord on May 15, 2012. She was born on Dec. 7, 1930 to the late Charles Robert and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (nee Ormandy) Eddy in Winona, W. Va. She is survived by her loving children Charles R. "Randy" (Terri) Neal of Portland, Ore., Brenda (Dave) Curtis of Brunswick and Robert A. "Bob" (Anita) Neal of Morris Plains, N.J.; eight cherished grandchildren Andrew, Laura, and Timothy Neal, Renee, Stephen (Jacqueline) and Brittany Neal, and Caileigh (Ed) Springer and Caleb Curtis. She is preceded in death by her husband John C. Neal in 1998 and siblings Mary Jane Criddle and Charles Robert Eddy, Jr.

Glenn W. Bell, 99, was called home to the Lord May 13, 2012.

He was the loving husband of almost 75 years to Mary; dear father of Glenda Kovacs (Joseph), Glenn V. Bell (Virginia), Bonnie Kessloff (David) and the late David T. Bell; dear grandfather of 14; and great-grandfather of 12. He lived in Willoughby for 53 years and was the owner of Willoughby Fruit & Vege Market.

Charles W. Lepley Jr., 70, passed away peacefully at his home on May 14, 2012.

Born on July 21, 1941 in Barberton to Charles W. Sr. and Fern (Heller) Lepley, Chuck was a life resident of Doylestown. Employed by Walmart, he was previously with MOOG Automotive and General Tire. Chuck was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.

William J. Stead, 81, of Brunswick, passed away on May 13, 2012 with his loving family by his side. He was born on April 27, 1931 in Cleveland. William was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War. William retired from Society National Bank/ Key Bank main branch where he worked for 14 years as a captain of security. He loved his family, friends and honored his country.

Sylvia M. Kreider, 88, of Wadsworth, passed away Sunday May 13, 2012. She was born on Nov. 18, 1923 in Burbank to the late Charles and Daisy Strouse. Kreider was a member of Wadsworth United Methodist Church where she belonged to the Kindred Spirits, she was retired from Wadsworth City Schools and went to Guilford Township to help tie quits. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 2006 and two sisters Dorothy and Florence.

Edward F. Knicely, 82, of Doylestown, passed away May 13, 2012.

He was born on March 24, 1930 in Richwood, W. Va. to Scott and Anna (Chambers) Knicely. A resident of Doylestown since 1963, and previously of Barberton, he had retired from P.P.G. Co. after 42.5 years of service. He was a previous member of C.A.A., and a proud union steward for over 10 years at P.P.G. Co. Ed enjoyed being outdoors, gardening, hunting, woodworking and doing construction. He loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Zwingli United Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, sewing and knitting. She especially enjoyed her flowers.

Dohrman J. Wells passed away surrounded by family May 10, 2012 from congestive heart failure complications. Dohrman was born in Steubenville Nov. 2, 1933, to the late George and Lillian Wells. He grew up in Steubenville and graduated in the class of 1951 from Steubenville High School. He was a proud member of the Big Red football team and received Ohio Valley Honors. Dohrman, also known as Dormie, proceeded to Mount Union College where he graduated in the class of 1955. While there he was active in Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, a four-year letterman and cocaptain of the football team and an All-Ohio Conference center. He also met Mary Lou, his wife of 56 years while at Mt. Union.

Dorothy loved being with her family. She was loved by all who knew her.

Glendene N. "Cookie" Ott, 97, of Rittman, died Monday, May 7, 2012 at the Apostolic Christian Home.

She was born Dec. 19, 1914 in Orrville to Christian and Ophelia (Zink) Hilty and lived most of her life in Rittman. Cookie graduated from Orrville High School in the class of 1932 and worked at Camp Hood in Texas during World War II. She also worked at the former Ohio Match Co. and owned and operated Ott's Beauty Shop.
